Marty's, the store with more for less! Amazing Burgundy Parcel Availableby Peter Tryba
A word on the vintages from Allen Meadows:
"'Overall, 2005 is really a dream vintage as it's hard to imagine getting much better fruit quality than what we obtained.' Bernard Dugat rarely misses so it's no surprise that his '05s are terrific but I was honestly stunned at just how good they are. While there are other vintages where an individual wine might be better, the 2002 Chambertin for example, I have never seen the across-the-board quality that he produced in '05. One essentially cannot go wrong buying any of them and as readers know, it's exceptionally rare that I give blanket endorsements." "I am almost always impressed by the Dugat-Py wines but 2004 is perhaps their best vintage ever in terms of the quality achieved relative to the underlying intrinsic quality of the vintage. One aspect that I particularly like is there is even more elegance and detail than usual, and with wines of this quality, that is indeed saying something." Click here for the parcel offer: CLICK |
